So you think it's too much work to make a homemade pot pie? Wrong! This dish is quick, hearty, delicious, and looks impressive. I must admit that I didn't even have the pleasure of making it myself. I sat on the sidelines as my hubby made magic in the kitchen. The more I smelled the yumminess, the more I grew interested in exactly what he was making, how he was making it ...and how it was happening so fast!
So now I share with YOU!
Here is what you'll need:
-1 box of Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust (or whatever other pie crust you like, but this is what he used and it was all prepped-see pic below)
-1 and 1/2 cans of cream of chicken soup (he used Campbells)
-1 cup of cubed chicken (or whatever meat/poultry you like...maybe leftover meat from a previous meal or purchased already cooked/grilled)
-1 bag of frozen mixed veggies (he used the peas/carrot mix)
- 3 cubed small red potatoes
-Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
-Put all ingredients (except the pie crust) in a sauce pan and heat on medium until warm.
-Follow easy instructions for simply unrolling pie crust and placing in a round pie pan
-Cook for 40-45 min and until golden brown
